2016 Chocolate Raspberry Port

Description

This fruit flavored port is a dark red. It smells strongly of the raspberry and chocolate flavors infused within. It started out as a raspberry mead but was then double fortified to give the alcohol content of a port and infused with chocolate to give the dark color you’d expect. It is rich and sweet and comes has a warm finish. The chocolate doesn’t over power and you start with the distinctly tart raspberry flavor with a melting chocolate aftertaste.
